Iliterally started this crash course book an hour ago and I am working on one of the first "Try It Yourself" activities and what it wants me to do is very basic although I cannot figure out how to obtain the proper output. I've read about storing information in a variable, printing that information, stripping whitespace from a string, and using \n and \t to make new lines that are tabbed. The activity says "Store a person's name and include some whitespace characters at the beginning and the end of the name. Make sure you use each character combination "\t" and "\n" at least once. Print the name once so the whitespace around the name is displayed. Then print the name using each of the three stripping functions, lstrip(), rstrip(), and strip().

The videos really helped me. As a retired professor, I thought the teacher did a great job on his lectures. He showed you how to take the exam by ruling out the two obvious incorrect answers that do not work and concentrating on the two remaining. His techniques helped me.

I found the biology crash courses the most useful for my studying! I thought they provided a great overview of all of the topics on the biology modules. At first, the bio review was super overwhelming, but the instructors did a great job summarizing the key takeaways from each section. The instructors were very easy to follow, and always monitored the chat for any questions that the students asked. They also talked about various pneumonic and other memorization strategies that they used when they were taking the DAT. My favorite part about the Crash Courses was getting to ask questions to students who have already taken, and mastered, the DAT content.

I would recommend Crash Courses to others especially while getting closer to your test date. The crash courses really helped me identify what sections I still needed to study. After the crash courses, I went from a 19-20 on the biology section to a 25 on the real DAT!

The biology Crash Course was an absolute lifesaver! I went from getting a 17 on the practice exams to getting a 23 on the actual DAT. While studying, the biology section was the most intimidating to me as I felt like it was very broad and was unsure how I would be able to nail all the various concepts. I went to two Crash Courses the weekend before my exam and it reassured me that I knew what to exam on the actual DAT. The instructor of the Crash Course made it highly educational while keeping it entertaining and engaging for everyone attending. He took the time to answer any questions or confusion regarding any biology topic. At first, I was hesitant to go to the Crash Course but I am convinced that the Crash Course is what allowed me to score a 23 on the actual DAT. It was also a great way to check with myself which topics I was confident about and which topics I should spend a little extra time on. I would highly recommend for anyone who is thinking about taking a Crash Course to attend as it will help you feel confident going into the actual DAT. It is a wonderful way for students who want to learn material in a fast and efficient manner.

I mainly invested in the Gen Chem crash courses which ended up being extremely valuable for my progress in the subject. The practice questions they provided were high yield and I had questions formatted similarly on the actual exam. This helped bring my practice exam scores up from 17s and 18s to a 22 on the DAT! The instructors took the time to stay longer than the meeting time was scheduled to make sure that all of the information was covered and everyone's questions were answered. They were also very patient and answered each of my questions effectively.

These crash courses provided a comprehensive overview of key concepts and topics covered in the test by condensing the material into a concise and focused format that helped grasp and understand the fundamental principles quickly.

This helped me develop problem-solving skills by applying the concepts learned in real-world scenarios. By practicing these problems, I became more proficient at answering questions accurately and efficiently during the actual exam.

Overtime, I become more familiar with the content and structure of the chemistry section of the exam. This familiarity enhanced my confidence, reduced my test anxiety, and enabled me to answer the questions with a clearer mindset.

With no doubt, these crash courses exceeded my expectations. They are known for integrating humor and entertainment into educational content seamlessly. This approach not only enhanced the learning experience but also helped to keep me engaged and motivated to continue learning. The hosts used humor, visual aids, and relatable examples to explain complex concepts in a more understandable and enjoyable way.

They have proven to simplify complex concepts while covering a wide array of topics and offering valuable supplementary resources. These factors contribute to a positive learning experience and make Crash Course a highly recommended educational resource.

The Bootcamp Crash Courses were incredibly helpful! The instructors made the information clear and concise, making weeks worth of content easily digestible. They also gave us a lot of mnemonics and tricks to remember tough information. The taxonomy unit had really stumped me but the Crash Course helped me so much to compact the information in a understandable way.

The reviews were especially useful for me, as I attended the Crash Courses in the weeks leading up to my exam. It was a great way to get a good overview of biology and chemistry sections, and even more so a good way to find out what I knew well and what I hadn't retained as well in my personal studies. From there, I could use the Crash Course notes as a guide to what needed more of my attention in the last few weeks before my DAT. The instructors were very open and willing to stay and answer any questions that everyone had. They were also very encouraging, which was much needed.

All crash courses for all subjects, Biology, Organic Chemistry, and General Chemistry, were extremely beneficial for me! I went from not even scoring near a 20 on any subject when taking the Bootcamp practice tests to getting above a 20 in every subject on my real exam!

I took the DAT Bootcamp Crash Courses for biology and organic chemistry, and they helped me reach my goal scores! I took the crash courses a week before my DAT, and it was a great way to fill in any knowledge gaps I had before taking the test. The Crash Courses covered a lot of material in a short amount of time, which allowed me to use my time wisely a week before my test. In the Crash Courses, you go over all of the high-yield content, and the instructors give you tips on how to memorize the content. The instructors did a great job teaching, and they were always ready to answer any questions that anybody had. I recommend anyone to sign up for these crash courses and give them a try. These Crash Courses gave me a boost of confidence, and I felt good going into test day. Having someone actively teach the material in a Zoom classroom setting helped me solidify the material, which ultimately led me to feel good on test day.

I would recommend Crash Courses to students who want to learn helpful material fast. After the Crash Course, my practice exam scores significantly improved. I went from a 12 on my first ochem practice exam to a 24 on the real DAT! The course gave me the tools to learn the material quickly and remember it for a long time. Without the Crash Course, I probably would have spent much more time studying. I liked the Crash Course because it was quick, understandable, and helpful. It taught me how to learn the material more efficiently.

I took the DAT on June 27 and studied for around 4 weeks, so there was a LOT of information to cram. I became overwhelmed with the huge amount of bio content, so I decided to attend the anat/physio crash course which was only two days before my exam day. The crash course definitely played a huge role in my bio score improving from a predicted 21 to a 27.

During the exam, I was able to breeze past the A/P questions, giving me more time for the GC/OC sections. I ended up having plenty of time to check my work as well! The crash course made me feel a lot more confident about A/P content, easing my nerves during the actual DAT.

I highly recommend Bootcamp's Crash Courses to anyone looking for an efficient and effective way to study. Ryan Eldin's mnemonics and story tips made it easy for me to remember complex biology subjects, and his live Zoom sessions helped me to tune into the important details I needed to study smart.
