Relay For Life

Hey guys,
So Carleton is hosting our first Relay for Life event this year and
they're asking teams to be registered from faculties, cubs, varsity
teams etc. I think it'd be nice to participate anyway. It's a twelve-
hour event on starting the evening of March 19-20. There's a facebook
group specifically for the Carleton event but here's the website for
the Canadian Cancer Society webpage for more information.

They're asking for teams of 10-12 to be registered, so let me know if
you're interested and if enough people want to do it then we can put a
team together.

It is going to be a great event we should definitely put in a team!
However, I believe the date is March 5th... I am going to confirm
this.
I am involved in the planning of the event so I hope I have this
right...
Where did you see the 19th?

I saw the 19th online but now I just spoke to someone and they said
the 5th, plus it says that on the forms so yes, you're correct no
worries.

I've done Relay for Life in the past years and I'd totally be up for doing it again this year. Can't garantee that I won't have an exam on that friday though because I seem to have been getting a lot of friday night exams so far in this semester.

 Question though: Who is the team captain? I'm not sure if Taryn meant that she was the team captain or just part of the planning team for the event itself. Otherwise I'm assuming that Sarah is organizing the team itself? Just so I know who to go to for the collection sheets and any other news developments of the event (though it is a long way away from now).

I am involved in the planning of the event and will actually be participating on a team for a different group I belong to so I definitely will not be acting as team captain but I can help you guys out with any questions and the like... 

Although the event isnt until March, the sooner we start fundraising the better and the easier... registration is open now so we can start anytime :)

Although not team captain feel free to ask me any questions!

I'll sign up as captain, I was just waiting to make sure I wouldn't be
a team of one :P If you can make it to the table today then sign
yourself up they're still open right? if not then you can do it online
anytime after.
