Directly below I wanted to share a bit about the party with you. Kol Hanashim is a women’s political party representing the diverse social fabric of Israel. The party will run in the 2020 Knesset elections to bring about gender equality, the participation of diverse women in decision making, and a different type of leadership in all areas of governance. Kol Hanashim strives to advance issues that are important to women, such as equal pay, stopping violence against women, and early childcare, and to bring women’s knowledge, experience, and perspectives to a wide range of issues on the agenda in Israel, such as health, economics, education, welfare, transportation, and of course peace and security. Including a wide range of women’s voices in decision-making will bring about creative, intelligent, and humane solutions to many important issues, and thus has the potential to improve the lives of all people across Israel.
"The Kol Hanashim Women's Party is going to make history by becoming the first women's party to enter the Knesset since 1948," says Dr. Elana Sztokman, party chair. "We are here to fight for issues that are important to women, such as equal pay, violence against women, sexual harassment, childcare and more. Women need to harness our collective political power in order to achieve real change. The Kol Hanashim Women's Party is here to do exactly that. We encourage women -- and men -- around the country to join us in this vital mission."
