"Technical Assistance for the Implementation of the Information and Communication
Technology for Improving Education, Diversification and Competitiveness”.
in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis
Start of Mission: May 2009
Total of Working Days: Twenty-five (25) months

We are invited to propose 3 key experts (long-term to be based in Basseterre,):
1 Project Manager
- Familiarity with EC rules and regulations and EC guidelines for projectcycle management
- Experience in participatory planning and multi-stakeholder projects
- Business development, private sector support or SME support
- Experience with working in a Caribbean territory
- At least five (5) years experience in implementation of ICT for development
activities such as ICT in education, e-government, community development etc.
1 ICT Strategies and E-business Expert
- At least ten (10) years professional experience. Caribbean experience would be an asset
- Experience in working with the private sector/business support, business development
services, business incubation, e-business, e-commerce, SME support.
- Experience in the development of strategic plans for ICT integration inorganisations
1 Networking and Communication Expert.
- At least five (5) years professional experience. Caribbean experience and knowledge
of Caribbean culture is requested.
- Experience in organising online and “paper” publications, virtual networks, web
content management, PR events and seminars.
Fee rate for the key experts will be 7000 Euro per work month.

the necessary structures in order to
- The establishment of the Foundation for the Advancement of Information Society in
St. Kitts and Nevis
- The mainstreaming of ICTS at all levels and sectors in society
- The development of the ICT industry and ICT enabled sectors.

months from this date.
