Hi folks

I'm back from the National Human Services Data Consortium conference and have a lot of good stuff swirling around my brain for continuing to improve the functionality and relevance of the HMIS.  Right now, however, we're totally focused on the AHAR (Annual Homeless Assessment Report).  The time frame for reporting has been dramatically tightened up this year and we have more communities than ever to compile reports for!  

Because of this shorter reporting period, any data correction requests we make pertaining to AHAR data will have to be done ASAP in order to be captured by the report this year.  We will do our best to work with all users to ensure these corrections are done in a timely manner so that we can give HUD and Congress the best representation of our consumers possible!

Sue Palmer will be taking most customer service calls at (845) 616-4894 and spa...@caresny.org  so that Tersha and I can focus on your quarterly reports, CoC grant application prep/processing and the AHAR for the next several weeks.   While we will all be available to assist and will get back to you when you phone or e-mail, she is really your shortest path to resolution of anything that is time-sensitive.
