URGENT- FIVE Need placement, elderly couple dies wAnimals

Hey Everyone,   You may have seen the news from this past weekend an elderly couple was found in College Park deceased.  They had monkeys, dogs, birds and cats.  Five cats were found within the home, three of which were identified by OCAS as ear-notched CARE cats who are already sterilized and vaccinated.  The other two cats do not have an eartip so we do not know their history.      Okay, what we want to do is most imporantly save them from euthanization, schedule the intact cats for surgery/vaccinations and get them all placed. So if you can take one or more, or offer a temporary foster pending placement, that would be soooooo helpful.    The kitties are described by Animal Service staff as follows:   4 years old:   Two short hair spayed female ear-notched black kitties "fearful"  (frightened)   ID#150060 Cage WCI22 & ID#150058 Cage WCI26   One short hair neutered male ear-notched black kitty "fearful"  (frightened)  ID#150057 Cage WCI24     One medium hair spayed female brown tabby kitty (no ear notch) "fearful" (frightened)    ID#150059, Cage WCI30    One male white/orange BOBTAIL (no ear-notch) "friendly"   :)  ID#150056, Cage WCI28     Please go to www.OCNetPets.com and view the kitties online. (i attempted to attach photos at the bottom of this email, however, it may not work).   They have a limited time before their review date.    :(     Please please if anyone can take one or more, let me know by emailing me at car...@carefelinerescue.org or caroli...@yahoo.com    Thank you all for opening your homes and hearts to these impounded kitties.   Carol Needham CARE Feline TNR, Inc. I wanted to update everyone on this.  Of the five cats impounded from this situation, I am told the orange/white bobtail is very very friendly and sweet and will be put into OCAS adoptions.  If you're interested in adopting, please go to Orange County Animal Services to see kitty and put in an application.    Two of the black kitties have been picked up by a volunteer with a HUGE heart. (Thanks so much for saving these kitties Mary!!).  This leaves only two that need someone to take them.  They are the black male and medium hair female tabby who appear below.  #150057 and #150059.    Please let me know if you can save these last two!!  Email me using the email addresses which appear below.   As always, thanks so much for all that y'all do!!   Carol Needham CARE Feline TNR, Inc. --- On Wed, 8/19/09, carol needham <caroli...@yahoo.com> wrote:
