Job Summary

About the Position: U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Army Capabilities Integration Center (ARCIC), Architecture, Information Management, and Knowledge Element (AIMKE). The AIMKE develops operational architectures in support of all Joint and Army warfighting concept development, experimentation, and analysis; manages the installation, maintenance, and access to local networks and monitors compliance with DoD, Army, and TRADOC regulations and policies; establishes, operates, and maintains the ARCIC collaboration environment and Army's integrated architecture authoritative data source to facilitate shared understanding, learning, and decision making through knowledge management.

Duties
You will serve as the IT Specialist (INET) in the US Army Training and Doctrine Command, Army Capabilities Integration Center (ARCIC), Architecture, Information Management and Knowledge Element (AIMKE), Fort Eustis, VA. Performing the following duties:
•Serves as SharePoint Systems Administrator responsible for managing all aspects for SharePoint Administration architecture.
•Performs the full life cycle software development to include conceptual analysis, requirements analysis, design, implementation, deployment and maintenance of various web site, team sites or web parts.
•Serves as a technical advisor, to other organizations within the ARCIC, in regard to WWW related enterprises to include but not limited to systems integration, application development and web services.
•Ensures priority projects/tasks are accomplished without adverse effect on regular and recurring assignments.
•Provides guidance on work planning and review, interpretation of guidelines, and other aspects of organizational planning, and management.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: managing and/or developing Microsoft SharePoint Portal pages and/or collaboration/content management applications, and management and design of web sites. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-12.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency (knowledge, skills, abilities) in the following areas:
•Knowledge or SharePoint Administration, Regulations, Policies and Procedures
•Knowledge of Web Sites Design, Implementation, Deployment, and Maintenance
•Skill in Analytical Methods and Procedures

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade (or equivalent) (GS-12).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this grade, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
