IBM China's Blue Pathway Program is recognized as a valuable
internship program and main pathway to full time IBM employment for
campus talents.

IBM China is currently seeking 2010 graduates to place them in real
business and industry environment and prepare them for corporate and
community leadership. The Blue Pathway Internship Program will provide
interns with job opportunities, mentoring, training and professional/
technical
development. IBM China recognizes students who successfully complete a
Blue Pathway Internship. For interns who maintain an excellent
academic record and positive work performance with IBM, IBM seeks to
make an offer for regular employment after graduation.

As the world becomes flatter and leading corporations like IBM move
towards a globally integrated model, we witness increased interest
from international students to return to their home countries for
employment opportunities. China, with its increasingly important role
in the world economy, has become more attractive to overseas talents
who want to make an impact early in their careers and seek long-term
developmental opportunities. IBM Blue Pathway Internship Program is a
great gateway to realize your goals.

This year, IBM China opens Blue Pathway positions to overseas Chinese
students who would like to return to work in China after graduation.
With your international education, you’ll have an ideal opportunity to
make early career advancements through IBM China's vast array of
internship
opportunities in the following functions:

* Sales
* Finance
* Marketing
* Software/hardware development & testing
* Engineering
* Business Consulting
* Technical Support

Please note: most research and development positions in labs (China
Software Development Lab and China System & Technology Lab) are
project-based and may start and end anytime throughout 2009, which
might not be feasible for overseas candidates. However, you can still
submit your resume to positions that interest you, and we will
consider you for full-time positions starting in 2010 if
opportunities.

*Application Process:*
April 20th – May 20th On-line Application Submission
May 24th (China); May 25th – 27th (Overseas) Information Processing
Aptitude

Test
June 6th – 7th (China); June 1st – 5th (Overseas) 1st Round Interview
June 10th – 25th (China) Final Round Interview (Individual Interviews
or Assessment Center)

You must apply through www.bluepathway.net to be officially considered
for any
opening in the Blue Pathway Internship Program. The application
deadline is May 20, 2009, but it is to your benefit to apply as soon
as possible to avoid congestion during the peak season.

*Selection in China *You can follow China's domestic timeline if you
can travel to China before May 24th and choose “China” as your
“current location” when you apply online.

*Selection virtually *For those of you who cannot be physically
present in China due to academic calendar conflicts, the IBM Aptitude
Test and first round interview can be conducted virtually when you are
still abroad. You will receive an email notifying you of your next
stage of application. Most
likely, you will have on-line test in a proctored setting at the
career services of your school during May 25th – 27th. First round
interview will be arranged by our overseas recruiters based on the
results of the test. But you may need to participate in final round
interview and additional tests (for R&D positions) in China, following
the local timeline of process.
