Upcoming Field Seminar on Scientific Illustration!

Title: Scientific Illustration: Flora and Fauna of Coastal Maine in Pen and Ink
Instructor: Dolores Santoliquido
Dates: June 4–10, 2023

Description: This workshop will go beyond the basics of natural science illustration but will be tailored to the beginner as well as the experienced illustrator. The instructor will be giving one on one instruction utilizing subjects found along the seashore and property of Eagle Hill. Participants will realistically render subject matter in pen & ink. Instruction will stress technique, use of tools, experimentation with different strata for varied results, accuracy, creativity, and developing well-balanced compositions. Field trips and hands on demonstrations are an integral part of this workshop experience.
