The Geography-Anthropology program at the University of Southern Maine's Muskie School of Public Service is looking forward to welcoming you to the beautiful city of Portland, Maine for the annual meeting of the New England St. Lawrence Valley Division of the American Association of Geographers on October 27th and 28th, 2023. 

The meeting will take place at the University of Southern Maine – Portland campus in the beautiful coastal city of Portland, Maine. Portland is the cultural and economic heart of Maine. It boasts award-winning restaurants, art galleries, a working waterfront, the charming Old Port and much more. Join us for an exciting two days of meeting colleagues, engaging presentations and of course the exciting Geography Bowl!

Registration and abstract submission is now open

You must register in order to submit your abstract. Registration will include a welcome reception and tour of the Osher Map Library on Friday October 27, a light breakfast, coffee break and lunch on Saturday October 28. Hotel information is available through the link above.
