University of Arkansas: The Siepielski lab
<https://asiepielski.wordpress.com/> in the Department of Biological
sciences is seeking a research technician as part of a NSF funded project
on climate warming and species coexistence. The selected candidate will
be responsible for: assistance with collection of field and lab data,
conducting lab-based physiological assays, insect rearing to generate
quantitative genetics data, and field work. Training will be provided. The
position requires a B.S. (or B.S. by the employment start date), excellent
organization and planning skills, and meticulous attention to detail. The
ideal candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills,
be capable of working independently and as part of a team, and be
able to troubleshoot problems. Basic laboratory and data management
skills, as well as a valid driver’s license are required. This is an
ideal position for a recent graduate looking to further their research
experience before applying to graduate school. The appointment for this
position will be annual, with renewals to four years pending satisfactory
performance. Salary will be between $25,000-30,000/year. Applications

candidate is identified. Start date is flexible. Materials required for
