Subject: Paid Environmental Conservation Job Opportunities for Students
To:
Good morning,
My name is Jennifer Peasnall and I am the Conservation Programs Manager at the Friends of the Cobbossee Watershed—a conservation nonprofit in Winthrop, Maine that focuses on protecting the lakes, ponds, and streams of the Cobbossee Watershed through community engagement, conservation, and education. I'm reaching out to share some exciting opportunities for paid summer work. We're currently seeking students or recent graduates who are looking to gain professional experience in the conservation field.
We have open positions for Courtesy Boat Inspectors, Youth Conservation Corps members, and Plant Survey and Control team members. The Plant Survey and Plant Control positions, in particular, provide excellent experience for any students who are interested in data collection and Aquatic Invasive Species management. We also have leadership positions for any students or new graduates who may be interested in pursuing a role with more responsibility. More information about any of these positions can be found on our website:
Employment – Friends of the Cobbossee Watershed (watershedfriends.com).
Please pass this information along to any interested students and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Have a wonderful day!
Best,
Jennifer
