This year's Student Conference on Conservation Science will be held Oct. 9-11, 2024

Save the Date!

October 9-11, 2024


Join us for the 15th annual SCCS-NY! This year's conference will be a hybrid event, so you can join online or at the American Museum of Natural History in NYC. We will host three full days of events and activities at the Museum. Virtual attendance will be supported by live-streamed presentations and plenaries, in addition to online interactive workshops and mentoring sessions.


Are you considering or pursuing a career in conservation?


Whether you are a student or an early-career professional, SCCS-NY is an international conference that provides opportunities for emerging conservationists (from anywhere in the world!) to network, gain experience, and present and get feedback on their work.


Present your research!


The call for applications to present a talk, speed talk, or poster at SCCS-NY will open March 1. Detailed information on how to apply will be available soon on the conference website.
