Please note that the submission deadline for the Maine Association of Wetland Scientists (MAWS) Research Stipend has been extended! Interested parties now have until April 25, 2023, to submit applications.

 

Please take advantage of this additional time to refine proposals and ensure they meet the criteria for consideration. We look forward to receiving innovative research ideas on wetland science and management.

Hello everyone,

 

Please see the attached documents regarding the Maine Association of Wetland Scientists 2023 Research Stipend. We are offering up to $2,000 in total.  The deadline for submission is March 15. 

 

The MAWS Executive Committee would greatly appreciate it if the recipients of this announcement would share it far and wide. There are undoubtedly a number of funding-worthy projects within the state, and we want to be sure all are eligible students are aware of this opportunity.  Not only does this stipend supply money, but it also provides students with an opportunity to present their work, which is an excellent networking opportunity and a great addition to a resume.
