Ok, I m back, rested and almost adjusted to the time change. A thought occurred to me today.

Are there any new activities that we want to launch at CareerCampSFV?
Any old activities we want to remove?

I just had a thought of a bulletin board where everyone could post their best advice using Post-Its to share with other attendees. I am sure there are other, better,  ideas floating around out there, though.

What ideas do you want to try at CareerCampSFV?

Welcome back!

I was thinking to piggyback on the panel we're doing before CareerCamp, that we can perhaps do an "Ask the Expert", where in between sessions, we could have an HR, Social Media, Recruiter, Actor, Writer, whatever... give 20 minutes of their time to answer questions or give more feedback on the day's happenings. Not sure if that sounds like another breakout session, but it's one thought...

Sounds good.

On another note, I just emailed Roger Rustad, who after CCLA1 mentioned he might be able to arrange EVDO-based wifi for the event. I want to see if we can arrange it for CCSFV so that people can have a bit more access for Twitter, etc.

BTW, that reminds me. What is the status of projectors at the church. I think the portable one is out of commission, right?

Great! Yes, I was thinking about that from the last time. Even on Tech Tuesdays, the Wi-Fi really slows down...

If you have portable projectors or can borrow another, that would be good. I believe we might have one left that they keep in a classroom--the other one was stolen a while back.

We do have the two monitors that can be attached to computers and used for better visuals, but a wide-screen projection is a bit more effective.
