Hola amigos y amigas!
Cannot believe another year is coming to an end!…. I am going away for a few days… returning December 28th. This is to let you know what we have been doing and what we need to do.
Best wishes for recovery to Pat Laird and Jerry Rossing. We are looking forward to have you both back here…
Thanks to those who have been visiting Wyman at Sofy Cares. There are now 3 UUers there. Helen Rivas Rose is now also at Sofy Cares. Helen has admitted to a drinking problem and I have met with her son recently when he visited. (he lives in England.) He and Helen decided that being there instead of alone in her apartment would help her…. I visited her a couple of days ago and she is eating better and looking better.
Sofia says she can help her… If you haven’t been to Sofia’s new location, this is an opportunity to do so and visit Helen.
Five of us went to Theo Billings apartment and took her collage class… We had a lot of fun and some actually produced some nice work! Theo wants to continue this and we will announce another class early january… but I need to talk with her and Lizzie who has been most helpful. (Coordinating things with Theo is not easy since she does not seem able to use her email or Whatt’sApp). I hope some of you will take her class and enjoy it! She has been confined to her wheelchair for years now and she herself produces some very interesting collages… I promise that you will enjoy… and it is something important for Theo.
La Doctora Acosta has agreed to give a presentation after our service on Sunday January 25. She will talk about the importance of exercising as we age. (there will be some tests!) Will be publicizing this soon.. please do come and invite friends. I will need help when we get closer…
I wish you all a healthy and happy Holiday Season… and look forward to your help when needed.

Thank you as always, Francoise, for keeping us all informed of news of our friends. I am so grateful for Sofy and Her Caring. Sofy Cares is a wonderful place. I have visited Toni Roberts and Wyman to play Rumikub several; times.
