Ebook Central - ProQuest is a collection of ebooks on a wide range of subjects. Ebook Central allows users to sign up for their own account, after which users can save books for later under their "Bookshelf" area, download books, take notes and highlight material in the ebooks, and more.
This blog aims to keep staff and students up to date with electronic resources available via UCL Library Services. It includes information on new ejournals, ebooks and databases, as well as other announcements. Use the Contents, below, to link to posts about different types of eresources, and to trials.
The library is moving toward acquiring ebooks over print books in most cases, so the library most likely will have either a print OR an electronic copy of a book. However, for some titles, there may be a print copy as well as an online copy of the book in the collection. This is rapidly becoming the exception, rather than the norm.
