I'm new to the HE platform, and one of the integrations missing from my transition from ST to HE was the ability to control my alarm system, which is through alarm.com. Below is my app providing the functionality I was looking for in arming/disarming my system via home automation.

@jmpierce
is it possible to setup multiple logins?
i entered wrong password initially, when i entered the correct it created a second set of arm/disarm/stay switches.
can i create a instance? for me and the wife so it shows in alarm.com logs who actually disarmed/armed the system??

I just created an edited version of this app. you will need to change 2 small parts to create seperate instances but it allows multiple users this way and the logs on alarm.com will show which USER initiated the command.

I wonder if anyone else is seeing something. I am noticing that the ADC App is "polling" for a lack of a better work, every couple of mins. I look at my ADC (alarm.com) activity and the app is constantly "logging in".. Is this how it suppose to work? Has ADC have any issues with that many logins? Just thought I would ask. I'm not having any issues and the app works wonderfully and i'm grateful for it. Its just something I saw and thought I'd inquire..

I could, i suppose, just unpair all of these devices with smart things and spend time repairing with alarm.com - but that horrifies me because of the lack of support, and amazing community that exists with smart things. (i tried calling alarm.com tech support on this topic, but gave up after about 40 minutes of waiting).

Hello Ryan. Thank you for responding to my earlier post so quickly. I followed your instructions and also rebooted my router. Nothing is still working. Of course I have no way to be certain, but I believe they are hung up in my previous alarm.com account. Any additional help you could provide would be appreciated. Thank you again.

Before powering down, deleted off alarm.com, then I held in reset on camera itself using a straight pin/safety pin. Then I disconnected power, and then I connected directly to modem/wireless router via Ethernet cable, then I reconnected power.

Ipcam found internet, and went green. Then I added it to alarm.com, and set up wireless. That was troublesome as certain characters are not allowed, so I had to set up a new WPA2 AES key using only ASCII characters,then set up the connection manually.

I'm relatively confident that the alarm.com model would not mesh well with our security model. It has long been UDI's stance that cloud managed devices pose an inherent security risk and would not be something we would consider. Furthermore, unless I am incorrect, the alarm.com model charges customers to 'manage' devices on a per device or group of device model, and working with a bridge device like the ISY would be counter-productive to that model.

I recently move to this platform from alarm.com and absolutely need my alarm.com account integrated. I move all my zwave items to ha and other devices. Then with the help of a member here I install qolsysgw in ha. So far is great instenanious responds and everything works great. If you have qolsys iq2 or iq4 go that route you will love it

just got done with connecting my arlo cameras with stringify, they are working great. they disarm and arm when i need to them. Just wish I could connect them to my alarm.com system. Stringify does not support alarm.com apps.
