Next week on Thursday, October 21 at 9 am, we have a
fabulous guest coming for the Dean’s Speakers Series event – Andrew Thau ’91,
who is the COO of the United Talent Agency. UTA is one of the largest
talent agencies internationally. Andrew will talk about his work at UTA
and the path he took to reach his current position.
The event will be held in the lobby along the 5th

Additionally, on Wednesday, October 27 at noon in room 1008,
Julie Swidler ‘82, Executive Vice President, Business Affairs & General
Counsel at Sony Music Entertainment will be speaking to students.
Julie oversees both legal and business affairs for the company
globally. As such, she provides guidance to Sony Music’s labels and
operating units on a wide variety of issues, including artist and employment
contracts, third party agreements, digital technology issues, strategic
negotiations, transactional matters and litigation.
This event will be held in room 1008 and lunch will be
served at this event. The RSVP process is the same as for Thau.
