Dear Cardozo National Lawyers Guild Members:
Tomorrow is the Citywide NYC National Lawyers Guild DisOrientation.
DisOrientation is a fantastic way to meet likeminded law students and lawyers from all the law schools and social justice organization and practices in the greater NYC area.
There will be panels and trainings on Legal Observing at protests, Copwatching, Critical Race Theory, How to Survive Law School with Your Morals Intact, The Right to Counsel in Housing Court, and Movement Lawyering.
Our own Jess Kulig (3L) will be teaching Copwatching, Keegan Stephan (3L) will be moderating the panel and Movement Lawyering, and alum Elena Cohen will be on the panel about surviving law school with your morals intact.
Breakfast, lunch, and lots of coffee will be served, and there will be a happy hour afterward.
It runs from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Flier and schedule attached.
