Good afternoon NLG members,

The NLG Chapters at Brooklyn Law, Cardozo, Fordham and Pace have organized a Critical Race Theory Symposium for Saturday, April 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Fordham Law School (150 W. 62nd St., Room 3-04). The event will consist of a Keynote Speaker (TBA) followed by a series of student-lead activities and breakout sessions that analyze the institution of law school through a CRT lens. Specifically, we will be discussing the effects of social stigma and the role of intersectionality as we develop proposals for institutional changes. Lunch will also be served.

We hope you are able to join us for the first of many multi-chapter collaborations to meet and learn from members in our wider NLG network about a topic that is particularly salient in the current political climate. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to cardo...@gmail.com.

In Solidarity,
Cardozo National Lawyer's Guild Executive Board
