As previously stated since 4/24 my GPS has not worked. On 5/8 and 5/9
it DID track steps and distance, which helped tremendously. I do not
need the map image, but it was nice to have, but steps and distance
was HUGE!.

Then again this morning no steps, no distance, no GPS nothing. It
stopped after about 300 yards, and did not count any time or steps. .

I rebooted phone before use. Installed tracker booster, turned GPS
settings to poor and 1 second.
WHAT HAPPENED to this awesome program which has worked for me for over
a year
CAN YOU FIX IT?

Have other tracking apps worked since that date?

You can also try restarting your phone, and/or download and install either "GPS Test" or "GPS Status and Toolbox". Both of those apps will allow you to see the process the phone goes through in acquiring a GPS lock, and at least the latter one allows you to reset your phone's aGPS information. If your phone has wrong aGPS information stored, it may make it impossible for it to acquire GPS lock (or at least it takes longer than needed). The right aGPS info on the other hand makes it very quick to get GPS lock.

Yes others have worked, but more importantly this one worked before that date! Also, why would this ap stop working for 4 days, work for 2 days then stop again? There MUST have been an update on 4/24 oor 4/25. It has alwauys been completely reliable!

You don't know if you installed an update??? Last CT update was Jan 11. The problem appears to be with your phone or another app conflicting with GPS or something. Back up all your data and try a factory reset if you dare. :-)

I agree, factory reset is the lazy answer. I've been a CT user for
several years, and it's only recently started losing its shit so to
speak. I've tried ever trick in the book and then went back to the
gold standard, something I was using before CT. I took pretty much the
same ride last night as I did the last time I was out. My Tracks had
NO problems where CT has been freaking out. Sorry folks, you broke it,
maybe you should roll back the code base to a version that worked???

Did you install CT from Google Play or the Android Market? The reason I ask, is because I got the Pro version as one of the Android Market free apps of the day so I downloaded CT and CT PRO from it. I had lots and lots of issues with GPS. I also noticed that if Android Market said there was an update and I updated, then Google Play would say I had an update. The Google Play and Android Market versions seemed to be different. I noticed that the UI looked different depending on which one I downloaded. Finally, I figured out that the Google Play version seemed to work better. Even so, sometimes I start CT and it searches and searches for a GPS signal. I find that when I see it taking longer than usual, I cancel the workout, shut down CT and start it up again. I almost always get an immediate GPS signal when I do that. Take all that for what it's worth.

Sorry, I meant the Amazon App Store instead of Android Market.
