Quick-TRANSfer warning

Hi all,
Does anyone tell me what "Quick-TRANSfer stage steps exceeded maximum (= 2677600)" warning means while performing spatialShrunkenCentroids analysis for example.

How does this warning affect the result of the analysis?

That's a warning from the FORTRAN code in R's built-in kmeans function, which is used to initialize the segmentation. I've never noticed it to have an effect on the final results.

Make sure you check your clusters$ifault value. If it is 0 to the best of my knowledge this warning hasn't affect your clustering ( please correct me if i am wrong)
