You can add this to your dog miracle stories. After 3 days Chaplin showed up at our back door a few minutes ago. He looks fine. Someone clearly has been taking care of him. His collar and tags are intact. All we can think is that someone stole him, had second thoughts, and brought him back to our neighborhood.
Thank everyone for your sympathy, suggestions, and volunteering to look for him.

They have contacted Orange County Animal Services and the golf course, looked all day yesterday, looking today. They'll be doing more posting on various sites including ones in the doc attached.

Wearing a collar w/tags, with a rope attached to his leash. May have snagged the leash/rope, and perhaps is stuck in the woods.
