Welsh speaking rubyist needed to help OS project

Hi all

I'm actually not based in Cardiff (London) but think this network is the best place I can find to put out a call for help. And this isn't my open source project, but I was just using the excellent rails localization library rails-i18n and I noticed while reading the docs that the .cy language files have been pulled from the library because they help to translate about 10 remaining translations.

You don't need to be a rails expert to do this (some experience of git/github and yml and ideally a little bit of rails knowledge) and it would be a great contribution.

FYI  I studied a bit of Welsh in University (actually Mediaeval Welsh, so not much use in 21st C) but  still I hold a torch for the Welsh language. 

Please spread the word amongst Welsh-speaking technical colleagues.

Hey Tim,

I'm not sure any of us are fluent Welsh speakers (though I know some are learning).

At work [1] we translate to Welsh, but don't currently have a volunteer who's fluent. I've noted [2] that fixing the aforementioned rails-i18n issue would be a good task if we do find one.

We mostly use Transifex [3] for crowdsourced translations, so there might be a way to use that to help out in some way.

I've just remembered that we also use Helo Blod [1] – a Welsh Government service that provides 500 words free per month.
