Hey all,

I've just joined Cardiff.rb and moving to Cardiff tomorrow so I
thought I would introduce myself. I recognise a few of you already.

My name's Zach. I'm going to be moving to Cardiff to join Mark Boulton
Design as a designer. However, I am also a heavy Ruby user. (I worked
8 months during the beginning of Hashrocket.)

Hi Zach, welcome to Cardiff, hope your move goes alright and that you enjoy it here.

We've only had two meet ups so far (Jul and Aug), both were on the second Thursday of the month so I guess the logical date for the next meet up is Thursday 8th?

How does that sound to everyone?

Hi,

Jon Morgan here, been programming professionally for 17 years (various languages but mainly enterprise and telecoms software with Java) and PHP for the last 6+ years.

Have been playing with Ruby and Rails for the last 6 months or so as I've been using it for personal projects and tools but very much still learning.

I'm joining BoxUK on 12th September where I hope to be using it professionally and want to be able to contribute to the Cardiff Ruby community.

Looking forward to meet ups and having a few beers. :-)
