Hi everyone.
I was just thinking about the next N.E.R.D. (Geek Event)
Since we have a few new folk on-board, it's going to be increasingly difficult to find a day when we're all free.
(It would be good to get a regular slot - 'the Xth Y-day' of each month or whatever, but what values of X and Y work for you all?)
Since some people can NEVER do Mondays and some can never do Wednesdays (etc...) It's a tricky problem, but I'm sure we'll find some way forward...
Secondly, *Some* of you have signed up to the [n.e.r.d.] Google-group -
but many haven't. I know it's easy for those of us who use gmail & other Google account
features, but even if you don't it'd be nice if you could all join in (despite the slightly more arduous process of joining for non-googlers.

Thirdly, Steve mentioned the possibility of having a meeting up near him in The Otley in Pontypridd (a treat for anyone who like Real Ale - and not too far from
a railway station either.) I gather it doesn't have wifi (yet) - but actually, that might be a good thing! We might have a broader spread of subjects than just computer
geekery. So who's up for it?
Lastly, I know some people think they're "not geeky enough" - don't worry it's not so daunting... It's more of an outlook than an achievement-based label. So come and
join in the fun. Most of us don't bite too fiercely.
Anyway, everyone, please join in the discussion... Please share your thoughts, ideas & suggestions.
I'd like to organise the next event for sometime before the end of March, so it'd be good to know when you can make it...
Cheers
Howard
