As with most upgrades of Mac OS X, new wallpapers are available. There are new wallpapers in the Nature (two of which are of snow leopards), Plants and Black and White sub-folders under the Apple folder. Furthermore, there are new Apple wallpaper sub-folders with multiple wallpapers:
9 to 5 Mac wrote an article titled called "The Myth, The Legend: How Snow leopard became synonymous with reliability ." The article is a nice attempt to contextualize Snow Leopard in the greater narrative of OS X, but it falls a bit flat. It makes some decent points, and I don't want to take that away from those, but I think I have a better explanation for why Snow Leopard was so dearly loved. Plus, I have my own opinions about which release of OS X/macOS is the greatest.
Based on current knowledge, the risk of infected animals, including this snow leopard, spreading the virus to humans is considered low. COVID-19 remains predominantly a disease transmitted from person to person. The Zoo initiated all necessary safety precautions and public health inspections before re-opening last spring and remains open throughout the winter.

There could be as few as 4,000 leopards in the wild, however the exact number is unknown as they are extremely elusive. The main threats they face are habitat loss and deterioration, human-wildlife conflict, loss of prey, poaching for the illegal trade, and climate change. As a result, snow leopards really need our help, WWF is working alongside communities, Governments and other organisations to address some of the threats snow leopards face.

The male snow leopard appears to be doing well, and is showing no additional symptoms other than the cough and runny nose. He shares his habitat with a female snow leopard and two Amur leopards. This September, researchers studying snow leopards in southern Mongolia discovered something unexpected: the big, elusive cats maintained much larger home territories than anyone had previously realized.
On average, they found each male snow leopard requires an astonishing 220 square kilometers of habitat. One individual they tracked had a home range of more than 1,000 square kilometers (roughly the land area of New York City!).
Few humans have seen snow leopards in real life, but hunting scenes like the one above have been captured on video by researchers who spend countless hours searching the mountains of Central Asia for snow leopards. Researchers think only 3,500 to 7,000 snow leopards exist in the wild, but no one knows for sure.
