Hi Ofer,
I've been looking into sporadic download problems recently. It would
be great if you could "zip" up the "carcast" directory on your sdcard
and email it to me.
If that isnt practical (or after you send me the zip), you can try this
new version of CarCast (use the on phone browser to download, then open
it from the downloads list and install as normal.)
It will give you two new tools help troubshoot the problem,
1. There is a details button on the "Download Podcasts" screen. Please
use that to start your downloads. If there are problems during the
download, the details screen should provide more information. If you
spot something odd, you can use the Menu key and email the download
session to the carcast team.
2. The when you long press on a subscription, on the subscriptions page,
you will be able to erase the download history for a specific
subscription (although this will only be effective for new downloads -
as only new downloads keep track of their source in the download history.)
