Last night I put AdMob.com Advertisements into the market version of "Car Cast". I also pushed the code to git hub.

Basically I'm looking to see first hand what kind of money turning on Ads could bring in. I know they are annoying. But so are bills.

In the bigger picture, I'm looking at ways to justify spending more time on Car Cast. My current Gig is coming to an end and so I'm finding myself
with some free time.

If anyone needs hourly consulting for Android/Grails/Java, I'm starting my search for new work. My resume is at http://rh4c.com

I also have a version of Car Cast in the market "Car Cast Pro." Pro is nearly identical to Car Cast (save the name.) It's cost varies, I've
experimented with different prices over a few weeks. But basically sales are a slow trickle of around 1 sale per day.

Anyway, I wanted to give a heads up on this stuff.

Cheers

I don't have a problem with the ads, Might be nice to put a little space between the ad and the Skip ahead and skip back button, so they don't get clicked by accident.

Some applications contain a "turn off ads" setting, This might make some of the "rabid anti ads" happy.

You should update the market description to Mention that this version has ads.

Yea, after I tried it out, I thought it might be better to move the Ads to the top of the screen, thus avoiding the accidental click.

Yea, I've thought of that too.
