What I have done is to the Susbscriptions, then chose "Export OPML" - I then share the attached file with my self by emailing to myself.

Then I open the email on my new phone, then click on the attachment.   CarCast should import the subscriptions.

Then I let it download everything once, then I clear everything (cause it usually gets older podcasts) and I start new on the new phone.

Hi.  Sorry, the controls are provided by Android directly... I'm not sure how they get mapped to which device...    You could try going into the bluetooth and having the phone "forget" about the watch - and see if it works then....
