What I usually do is I go in and edit the data location and I temporarily change it by adding a character at the beginning...

Then I return to the home screen of car cast and it will show you what directories it thinks are allowed for the data directory.

sometimes it's helpful to rotate the phone in order to see the full length of the paths that are allowed.

Then I go back in and change the data directory to one of the paths that it recommended.

 

Usually one of those paths is the SD card.

I reinstalled car cast but it says that my storage target is not correct. 

I looked through the short help info on line but can't find instructions to fix this issue. 

Could you send instructions?
