Issue on download...

--Please add to here, (1) what is the problem as you see it?  (2) Does it happen everytime?--

Many podcasts (including everything from NPR) download fine.  But a few others get this SSL handshake/CA certificate error.  It happens every time.  Some other podcasts had a different SSL error, which was fixed by changing the address from https to http.  That did not work for Wonderful and Still Buffering which continue to error.

This may be the only podcast app that still works on my phone, and aside from this it's perfect, thank you.

Hi Elizabeth,

Carcast hasnt been updated in 4 years.   I suspect that the logic for downloading from encrypted sites is broken.     I don't have a running copy of the source code at the moment, so getting this fixed is log likely to happen soon.
