Hello y'all
It has been some time since I participated in any meetings since my time has been cut thin. I just recently acquired a new DMR HT and I am looking for some knowledge along with some guidance when it comes to the knowhow of DMR and the CPS. I get the basics, but beyond that it is just confusing since everything on the internet seems to contradict each other. So if anyone would like to donate some time or possibly do an activity meeting pertaining to DMR I would make the time to attend that meeting.

Thanks in advance,
Vince

Vince,

There's only the one DMR repeater in Natrona County that I know of. Listed on the club's front page as well. Best bet is to contact the group runs that and they can get things sorted for you. There are a few folks in town that have done that already, maybe one of 'em will jump in here too.

I have a couple DMR radios. One is a UHF HT and the other is a dual band 20 W mobile.

As Tate said, there is one DMR repeater in Natrona County, operated by the Wyoming DMR project. As far as I know, that project provides two talk groups and is not connected to any of the larger DMR networks.   One talk group is a local group, repeating only to users connected to the same repeater. The other talk group is statewide. I used the statewide talk group for an exercise in March to talk to LCEMA to coordinate Winlink traffic. All code plug information is on the Facebook group under files.

It's been a while, but I believe CPS was the software for my mobile radio. I found it to be pretty clunky. I ended up using https://www.cpeditor.co.uk/ instead.

I have some time next Saturday if you want to do a weekend workshop.

I’d love to meet and talk radio with you, but I just cannot commit to this Saturday do to my schedule. I greatly appreciate the offer.
