Pony Express re-ride re-ride report

Pam and I drove the area of poor to no radio contact on the Pony Express
re-ride path this year beginning on the north end of CR319 in our Jeep
with a 1/4 wave mag mount and 5 watt HT. I've noted on a map trouble
spots. I am confident an half wave antenna and radio at 50 watts will
make huge improvements along with the following request and actions. I'm
asking for 3-4 volunteer drivers or teams, besides the team lead
vehicle, to use HTs in simplex and duplex modes, to move in an hopscotch
pattern to make difficult propagation good. Plus, Dan had the idea of
using 6m SSB in conjunction with these other frequencies. Who will join
us for the Pony Express re-ride in 2026?
