Hello folks,

After attending the Wyoming Ham con forums on satellite comms, I decided
to poke around the Internet and see what I could find on tracking
software for my home telescope mount.

I have a 10" Dobsian telescope with a GOTO motorized mount. Sure enough,
I found this article on how to get started.

After digging further, I discovered the software drivers for my mount to
make this happen. The motors can drive fast enough to keep up with the
ISS. So, it looks like with some effort, I can make this happen.

The hard part is the $$$$ for the radio equipment to do the comms and
handle the doppler shift.

Great, just what I need, a new hobby within my astronomy hobby.

The Wyoming Ham Con was a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to learning
more. Unfortunately, it's helping me drain my already thin wallet. :-)
