Subject: Carbon180 event at New York Climate Week
To:Hi Everyone,I wanted to reach out and let you know about our event at NY Climate Week this year!We are hosting an all day event on Tuesday, September 22 with a series of panels exploring some of the biggest open questions around CDR and climate solutions, from community impact to funding challenges to conversations about navigating difficult political environments.The day is broken into a morning and afternoon session, but folks are welcome to stay all day, just attend one panel, or duck in and out as needed. Note that for planning purposes there is a separate registration for the morning and afternoon sessions.
Specifically, our mCDR work will be featured during the morning session on the panel, Voices from the field: Community perspectives on climate projects from 11-11:55 (featuring our Making Waves regrantees) and in the afternoon panel, No silver bullet: A multipathway approach to reaching gigaton scale from 3:20-4:15 (followed by happy hour). There will also be opportunities for casual connection over breakfast and lunch in the morning or during a happy hour in the afternoon.
Please feel free to forward to any colleagues that are going to NYCW and might be interested. We hope to get a diverse group of climate folks in the room.
