The Vancouver Declaration - Developed by 275 experts and institutions from around the world—spanning 20 stakeholder groups, 35 countries, and over 200 institutions—the declaration provides a science-based, action-oriented roadmap for responsible CDR implementation.

CDR26 Conference - Join us in Vancouver on October 20-21, 2026, for CDR26 — the first in a series of annual conferences dedicated solely to turning our carbon-removal know-how and ambitions into global, coordinated action. CDR26’s unique position in the climate conference ecosystem is that it is action-oriented, reporting on tech and policy progress in all CDR sectors, showcasing new developments and partnerships, and accelerating collaboration and coordination between governments, industry, science, and civil society. Organized by the global Carbon Dioxide Removal Action Network (CDRANet), CDR26 will mark the first annual gathering of the global CDR community where we focus on building the bridges, partnerships and capacity needed to scale CDR quickly, safely, sustainably, and equitably.

Thanks Bruce. Too bad it couldn’t coincide with this Vancouver meeting in Jan: https://www.carbonunboundwestcoast.com/. Think of the travel emissions and $ savings and attendance boost. Anyone else feel conflicted about in-person meetings in the age of virtual meetings and shrinking CO2 and $ budgets? Or does a real meeting provide the essential fertile stew from which real CO2 solutions arise? COP30?
