When I checked the brake I found the cable secure, but one of the
brake pads ejected.
So, I reversed the pad holders and had some koolstop for carbon brake
pads which I installed. Good idea to do this step during the swithch
process.
It is a clean look for those of you whose bikes were in the early
build and it reduces contact with seat bags.

I hope your dealer switched the pad holders. A quick look will let
you know. I fortunately found out I did it incorrectly when my life
wasn't dependant on a rear brake...That was part of the reason for my
post.

| Oh got you, the pads will shoot out the back of the holders won't they. My LBS guy is an old racer, knows that trick. In. He didn't switch them, he like to use Elmers glue for everything including securing the pads in the holders. Thanks for the heads up though Ward --- On Tue, 3/16/10, mike <mikea...@aol.com> wrote: |
