I participated again this year in the 5k and 10k Florida Senior Games
Championship time trials. Unfortunately I was unable to defend my
title from last year. I rode faster in the 5k, but Neal Moran on a
Bacchetta Corsa rode three seconds faster. He now holds the age group
record. Neal also beat my time over the 10k distance. Both of us
were slower than my time of last year. Thus my Carbent 10k recumbent
time trialrecumb ent age group record still stands. It is fun to
participate in these events though humbling as I am the equivalent of
a seventy five year old df rider.
