So is everyone just riding now?  The carbent group has been pretty quiet lately.  I see that akigreg did a ride recently in TX.  I saw the video with him and his carbent up on lifeonabaron.

Carbent Sea Dragon 007 has had rider and idler axles issues over the
last five months. Carbent Sea Dragon then suffered a crush injury in
the care of fedex. It took me a while to get the bike parts shipped
back to LA for rebuild. Before long I will be on a rebuilt bike. I
have been missing bike riding as I don't seem to choose the trike when
there is an opportunity of long urban or very long rides.

I forgot what I had been up to. The company that I work for decided
to have an exercise contest as part of its wellness program. The
whole contest was based on how many minutes you exercise. I had a
great time competing in the contest doing 5 and 6 hours rides on the
Raven. The last three months really is the first times that I have
ridden the Raven more than a couple of hours at a time. I'm really
impressed how much I like riding the Raven on the longer rides. The
last weekend of the contest I got a new thick Ventisit seat pad. The
first ride with it was a 70 mile fun ride. After two hours of ridding
I hurt so bad I could hardly sit on the pad. Is there a break in
period for the pad? Or have I done something wrong?

The ventisit pad took about two weeks of recreational rides before it felt
"normal" to me. I think during that period the longest rides I did were
about 3 hours. After that I could switch back and forth between the
ventisit and the foam pad without discomfort. You probably just need a
little more time and to pace yourself.

My employer did the same exercise competition a few years ago. My "team"
was very happy to have me on it while training and competing in a few ultra
events. Amazing how helpful one 24 hour race is to your numbers!
