Upcoming Classes

[CARBBN]

Hello,

As CARBBN grows into a full fledge HAM Radio club there will need to be some education so that the everyday Amateur Radio operator can learn about technology.  With that in mind CARBBN is going to expand its focus to start teaching classes to aid in the focus of Mesh, D-Star, C4FM, DMR, and other digital modes.  Our first couple of classes will in September 2018 and moving forward from there they will be once a month from that point forward.  Our net will be picked back up to handle other we can not reach out to answer questions and deliver information.

The first class taught will be "Introduction to Amateur Radio":

Time: 6:30 PM

Where: TBD

The second class will a series called "Amateur Radio Linux 101":

Date: 9/26/2018

Time: 6:30 PM

Where: TBD

Other subjects will be brought into the material down the road.  Subjects will be along the lines of:

Raspberry Pi for Amateur Radio

APRS 101

HF Digital Modes

C4FM

D-Star

DMR
