Dear People,

Firstly, in this email I am asking you to increase your contribution, please. Marita, Alan and Lorraine have all dropped out of the group (Lor for medical reasons) and I cannot do a car wash on my own. Last time I sent loads of emails to various supermarkets, and I have received no feedback whatsover. This is not my group, but our group. It does not feel nice to work as an individual in a group.

Secondly, Maria Stella and Sheryl will be joining the group, as I asked the SPYS team for additional help and they were willing to join us.

Thirdly, Tigne point have answered our email requesting permission. PLease have a look at it below, so we can TOGETHER decide what we need to ask from him.

We refer to your hereunder request to be granted permission to carry out a car wash fund raising event at the Tigne Point Car Park. The Company hereby issues its no objection to such fund raising event, provided that the authorizations / no objections from (i) the car park operator; and (ii) the car wash operator are obtained. As you may appreciate, though MIDI is the owner of the car park, it has certain restrictions – and accordingly the permission of the aforementioned companies is required.

 

Before contacting the said companies, we would appreciate if you could provide the following details:

1.       How many persons will be involved in this fund raiser activity;

2.       For how long will this activity be going on;

3.       Whether you require anything else except permission to carry out the cleaning of cars.

I am Chantelle Camilleri, a volunteer with SPYS (Salesian Pastoral Youth Service). I, on behalf of my team, would like to ask you for the permission to carry out a car wash fund raising activity, at Tigne Point's car park. The funds of this car wash would go for the needs of children in India, Ghana and Kenya, since my team and I are all going to do voluntary work in one of these third world/developing countries during this summer.

 

Our tentative date is Saturday 22nd June.
