Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am Chantelle Camilleri, a volunteer with SPYS (Salesian Pastoral Youth Service). I, on behalf of my team, would like to ask you for the permission to carry out a car wash fund raising activity, in the car park next to Mamma Mia. The funds of this car wash would go for the needs of children in India, Ghana and Kenya, since my team and I are all going to do voluntary work in one of these third world/developing countries during this summer.

Our tentative dates are Saturday 22nd June or Sunday 23rd June. Which date, in your opinion would be the most ideal?

I thank you for your kind consideration of our request, and I hope to hear from you soon. Below please find a letter from our Volunteer Coordinator, which confirms that we are genuinely going to do this car wash for a good cause.

To whom it may concern,

This is a note to confirm that Ms Chantelle CAMILLERI (423888M) has been participating in preparation sessions in order for her to be able to volunteer through the Salesian Pastoral Youth Service (SPYS - VO/0078) on a Salesian project in India.

SPYS therefore authorises Chantelle to organize fundraising activities and/or receive donations (in cash and/or kind) on behalf of the organization to support the project.

Should the volunteer wish to raise funds to support the costs for her trip, she is to clearly indicate this accordingly.
