Hi BNT,
Here is a great scholarship resource for any high school seniors looking at going into college this upcoming fall.

You must be legally blind and must submit proof of such. Examples of sufficient proof are a letter from a physician or a letter of Social Security.
Submit proof of full time enrollment for the 2025 - 2026 school year. An unofficial transcript or an acceptance letter are both examples of proof of enrollment.
Submit transcripts from the college/university you are currently attending.
Upload one letter of recommendation. This letter should come from someone who can speak to your academic/employment performance, leadership skills, extracurricular activities, community service, personal character, etc. Professors, supervisors, religious officials, NFB leaders, and community leaders are examples of people who may write a letter of recommendation. If your recommender would prefer to submit your letter directly to the committee, they must do so by emailing chair Skylar Covichh at cov...@gmail.com, by the deadline.
All finalists must attend the entire NFB of California Convention from March 13 - 15, 2026 held in-person in Anaheim. You must also attend all scheduled  scholarship programming and required events. note: If selected, the NFB of California will reimburse travel costs, and a  hotel room will be provided to you at no cost.
