| I just took a walk on trails with kids. The extent of damage is extensive. There are several downed trees, many hard to move and big. Some created nice new ride overs, some created disaster areas. Surprisingly the trails are mostly dry.
There are too many to count down twigs, sticks, small limbs. The trails are COVERED in a thin layer of twigs. It clear it will take a long time. We will run tonight's race with a few proclaimers:
1. Prepare for a SHORT TRACK race..that will still include a few ride overs, course will be about 1.5 mile long. The course will be, normal start to ball field, along fence, cut in center trail..head toward middle, like going out to dirt road, cut in just before dirt road, last right you could take, normally we
come out this trail, over pallet bridge, through narrow trees, past old log ride, up hill that bypasses jump, down bikers beware, out, and back in. 2. Expect lots of twigs. Derailleurs could get hurt. Fair warning.
3. Open class will start at 6pm, and go 1 hr short track. Novice will start 6:10 and go 40 min short track. See you all later!
