Aladin is an interactive software sky atlas, created in France. It allows the user to visualize digitized astronomical images, superimpose entries from astronomical catalogues or databases, and interactively access related data and information from the SIMBAD database, the VizieR service and other archives for all known sources in the field.[1]

Short intro for those unknown to Aladin: it's an interactive sky atlas with a LOT of possibilities. Even so much that it can be overwhelming. It has an online version but also versions to use in Windows, MAC or Linux.
It's very cool to just open en experiment with. I use it at this moment for a project where I really have a deep field with a lot of faint galaxies of magnitude 20 and lower in it. With Aladin I can identify them because you can download databases and then overlay that on your capture.

The Aladin interactive sky atlas, developed at CDS, is a service providing simultaneous access to digitized images of the sky, astronomical catalogues, and databases. The driving motivation is to facilitate direct, visual comparison of observational data at any wavelength with images of the optical sky, and with reference catalogues. The set of available sky images consists of the STScI Digitized Sky Surveys, completed with high resolution images of crowded regions scanned at the MAMA facility in Paris. A Java WWW interface to the system is available at: -strasbg.fr/.

Aladin is an interactive sky atlas allowing the user to visualize digitized astronomical images or full surveys, superimpose entries from astronomical catalogues or databases, and interactively access related data and information from the Simbad database, the VizieR service and other archives for all known astronomical objects in the field. It is capable of addressing challenges such as locating data of interest, accessing and exploring distributed datasets, visualizing multi-wavelength data.

SkyView has beendeveloped with generous support from the NASA AISR and ADP programs (P.I. Thomas A. McGlynn) under the auspices of the High EnergyAstrophysics Science Archive Research Center (HEASARC) at the NASA/GSFCAstrophysics Science Division.

We gratefully acknowledge the support of NASA and contributors of SkyView surveys.

Create a React component that will render Aladin sky map (so there will be no Aladin anywhere else). Then, you can define and configure aladin inside componentDidMount (if you are using class components) or React.useEffect (if you are using hooks).
