Hey guys,

Here are some details about your first presentation. The format needs to be a PowerPoint presentation. you aren't limited on length, but you only have 15 minutes to cover everything you wish to present (including a demo if you decide to show one). Here's an overall structure you can follow:

1. Problem Readback:
1. Convey the problem and pains, and why a solution is needed; along with any understood requirements
2. Convey their solution from a non-technical perspective and why it solves the pains and problem previously stated, as well as any other problems it may solve
2. Technology Solution:
1. Technical overview that shows how the problem is being solved from a technical perspective
2. Description of technologies used, and why they were selected
3. Plan Going Forward:
1. Progress up to this point
2. What is left to implement?
1. How is work going to be divided?
2. What are the possible risks and issues that may/will come up?
3. Come up with a plan of things to be accomplished by the 2nd and final checkpoints
4. Suggested Future Enhancements (Optional)
1. What things would the team recommend that would really add value?

Each team will have 15 minutes to present, 10 minutes for Q&A, and 5 to switch to the next team. It helps to do a few dry runs as a group to make sure you can cover all your content within the 15 minute time limit.

Since it's a competition, you are welcome to place different emphasis on the different outline sections (1 is more business / sales pitch whereas 2 is more technical). There isn't really a "right" answer, but from a business perspective the goal should be to have the right combination to impress and excite the customer. Let me know if you have any questions.
