Sawtooth Dental has been proudly serving the Twin Falls, Hagerman, and Shoshone areas for 46 years. Dr. Gary Dixon started the practice in 1972. Then in the mid-1970s, he opened an office in Shoshone to help better and serve everyone there. Dr. Eric Thomas joined Sawtooth Dental in 1997. After three years of being a dentist with Dr. Dixon, Dr. Thomas wanted to take his services and, thus, opened an office in Hagerman in 2000. Then in 2008, Dr. Steve Dixon followed the footsteps of his father and joined the practice.
In 2012 Sawtooth built the building that they are in now to serve their patients better. After Dr. Gary Dixon retired, Dr. Brent Sorenson joined the practice in 2015. Having three dentists at Sawtooth will provide extensive care to the Twin Falls, Hagerman, and Shoshone areas. We love the opportunity to be around everyone in the Magic Valley.

The data I'm trying to use this on is not generated, it's measurement data from an angular encoder. I do not know the frequency. I know that the function value is in the interval [0,360]. I'm looking for a solution that can also handle a 'negative' sawtooth.
I just thought to compare two consecutive elements of the array containing the angle values and exactly when the difference between them is a multiple of pi, each next value is incremented by such difference.
It looks like you just need to split effective value in two parts, let's call them base and reminder. Total value would be base + reminder. Then, you analyze changes of input and in case it was high (359 or close) and suddenly became low (0 or close), you add 360 to base. You subtract 360 from base if change happened in other direction. After base recalculation you assign input value to reminder for future reference. And that's all.
You may remember the little star mini-quilt I shared last week. I had multiple people ask for instructions for making these stars. It's been something I've wanted to write a tutorial about for years and I figured now was the time.
This classic 8-pointed star is probably one of the most traditional quilt motifs there is. I think the reason it has so much staying power is that it always looks sharp. Plus, depending on the variety of fabric and color choices, it can be so versatile!
This quilt using these sawtooth star quilt blocks is one of the first quilts I ever made. I made it 16 years ago - I even hand quilted it! - and it has hung above my bedroom dresser ever since. I still love it (which I can't say about every quilt I made that long ago.)
As you can see in this sawtooth star quilt block version, I made the stars "solid" using the same fabric for all of the pieces of the star. If you look at the mini version at the top of the post, you can see where I used different fabric for the star centers. So obviously this block gives you a lot of variations.
This sawtooth star quilt block can be constructed using half-square triangles for the points. But I personally prefer to use Flying Geese units for the points as it eliminates an unnecessary seam (between the points), reducing extra bulk and leaving larger pieces of fabric design intact.
