All,

The weather is forecast to be thunderstorms on Saturday 4/20 but if that changes I am available to do instruction or can tow if anyone would like to fly. I will send out an email closer to the weekend with an update on the weather and if we are forsure flying or not.

Thanks, Jarrett

With the forecasted thunderstorms, ifr, and cold weather, let's hold off on flying this weekend 4/20/2024. I will be out of town next weekend but I will coordinate with Bill to see if maybe he can instruct.

Thanks, Jarrett

Colter Lamb was checking his work schedule and he thinks he can get the annual done if he starts it this weekend in the Hanger at Littlefield. since we’re not flying this weekend, it might be good to get it started - so the towplane will be out of service until it’s annual is finished.

1313 is the hanger combination
I can’t recall the airport gate code
It might be 3003

We have 7 days to finish the annual inspection before the towplane needs to be in Hobbs for the cross country training course. Please make plans to help out getting the work done.

I will plan to relocate the towplane to Hobbs Industrial Air Park on next Thursday Morning and standby for towing during the weekend. Then I will continue to stay in Hobbs with the towplane to support the soaring contest until the next Wednesday when I need to return to LBB for a trip to Denver, returning on Sunday. We need to get a replacement tow pilot for Thursday thru Sunday. I’ll be available for the final week of towplane services for the contest and then I can return the towplane to Littlefield.

If we have any other tow pilots that what to tow in the Champ, please contact me so we can provide that service to both the Cross Country Soaring Camp (13- 16 June 2024) or the SSA Soaring Contest (17-29 June 2024)
